The vision of the SSF food aid program "Ehsas" is to end the treadmill of poverty that is becoming more pervasive in our world. Food is a basic human right, and no kid should go without it.

Today, over 200 million people are suffering from hunger and malnutrition. This statistic resonates with a lot of us. 

NUTRITION

Unhealthy levels of food are being consumed by far too many youngsters as they grow up. As a result, they will grow slowly, and their brains won't mature normally. Due to a lack of food, generations are vanishing, and many children die before their births from lack of nutrition and a lack of essential elements like vitamins and minerals.

TRANSFORMATION

Communities' capacity to survive on their own might be directly impacted by a lack of food. Children frequently have to miss school in order to try to provide food for their families because they spend their time looking for food. This implies that the cycle of poverty will persist. For instance, over eighty percent of kids worldwide attend basic school.

In secondary school, however, this number substantially decreases. Less than half of students attend secondary school in some disadvantaged communities, and girls are much less likely to do so.
