An Associate Professor at Aligarh Muslim University, India. Serving as the Assistant Dean for students' Welfare. He joined as a lecturer in the Civil Engineering Section at the University Boys Polytechnic, A.M.U., on October 10, 1996, after completing an M.Sc. Engg. (Building Engg.) from A.M.U. in 1996 and a Ph.D. from I.I.T. Roorkee in 2011.

The Chairperson has published more than 17 papers in international and national journals and conferences like Fire Safety Journal (Elsevier), American Concrete Institute (ACI S P on Fire Design of Concrete Structure), Magazine of Concrete Research, Journal of Structural Fire Engineering, International Journal of Concrete Structure and Materials, and Journal of Structural Engineering SERC (Madras), etc.

He had presented papers in India and Abroad. He is also a reviewer for international Journals like the ACI Material Journal, the Journal of Structure and Fire, the International Journal of American Concrete, etc., along with having teaching and research experience spanning more than 18 years. He also guided three M-Tech Structural students and wrote two books.

He is also a member of the public Selection Committee. She has also been awarded the Best Polytechnic Teacher Award for UP and UK 2011 from ISTE New Delhi.
